The original Back to the Future group has stood the test of time.
Lea Thompson, Tom Wilson, Christopher Lloyd, and Michael J. Fox all reunited over the weekend at FAN EXPO Portland.
On Saturday, Thompson, who played Lorraine Baines-McFly in the trilogy, shared photos with her former co-stars on social media. She wrote in the post’s caption, “Wow honestly had the best time today with my #bttf family. So many fun fan moments too.”
Videos of her reconnecting with Lloyd, who played Dr. Emmett Brown in the cult-classic franchise, and Wilson, who played Biff Tannen, were posted to her Instagram carousel.
In one video, Thompson said to Lloyd, who was being embraced by the Who Framed Roger Rabbit actor, “Look who’s here, look what the cat dragged in.”
The actress said to Wilson, “My favorite, favorite guy ever,” in another video. He replies, “I love this lady. It’s so great to see you. It’s so fabulous.” Before the two of them engage in conversation, Thompson inquires, “I’m a butthead, right?” one of Biff’s usual slurs from the movies.
After that, Wilson plays the role of his character by jokingly asking, “Hello, anybody home?” as he taps the actress on the head. Wilson gives Thompson a kiss on the forehead just before the video ends.
The first installment of the Back to the Future trilogy, directed by Robert Zemeckis, debuted in 1985. It was followed by Back to the Future Part II in 1989 and Back to the Future Part III in 1990.
