Netflix’s Royals will feature Bhumi Pednekar and Ishaan Khatter in their web series debut

Bhumi Pednekar, a Bollywood actress, is set to take the internet by storm with her first web series. Yes, indeed! You’re correct. Bhumi and Ishaan Khatter are reportedly set to work together on a romantic drama series called Royals for Netflix.

The production company behind the International Emmy-nominated Amazon Prime Video series Four More Shots Please, Pritish Nandy Communications, is said to be producing the show, according to a PeepingMoon report! A grand ensemble drama is promised in Royals.

“Bhumi wanted to investigate long-format storytelling with a project that is distinct, yet marketable, and captivates a large audience. Royals is everything she was hoping to find in her first OTT endeavor, and she is eager to explore this world. Watch out for her newfound chemistry with Ishaan Khatter as well, an insider close to the project told the portal.

The report went on to say that pre-production for the show is currently underway, with filming expected to start in a few months. For Pritish Nandy Communications, it is the company’s 24th production.

Bhumi has a busy schedule, but fans will have to wait for the project’s official announcement. On February 9, Red Chillies Entertainment’s Netflix thriller Bhakshak, starring her, will debut. Next up is Mudassar Aziz’s romantic comedy Mere Husband Ki Biwi, starring Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet. Meanwhile, Ishaan Khatter will soon be starring in Netflix’s The Perfect Couple alongside Nicole Kidman and Dakota Fanning, two A-list celebrities.
