Nomad Mr. Murk City From the worst situations often rises the best artists.

One up-and-coming artist reflects this idea exactly. Coming from Sumter, South Carolina, Nomad Mr. Murk City is an American Rapper with a message.

Nomad had to live a tough life growing up in South Carolina. South Carolina is one of the most violent states in America coming in as the fifth most violent state in America. On top of being in the violent state of South Carolina Nomad was raised in Sumter. Over the year Sumter has become more violent and earned the name “Merk City/ Murk City”. Being raised under these Conditions Nomad had two choices eat or be eaten.

Nomad Turned their bad situation into a positive influence through music. In the Summer of 2016, Nomad released his second solo project, Murk City Ent LLC Presents…”TruLife The Mixtape: Hosted by DJ Chuck T (Down South Slangin)”, which featured hit songs “CHICK” and “KEEP PUSHIN”. By producing music that reflected their struggle Nomad was able to bring awareness to the hard life in the city as well as channeling their energy into an art form.

Even more recently Nomad was able to help produce and release two videos. On New Year’s Day, January 1st, he released a video for the song “Keep Pushin”. This video was followed up with yet another one in March with the official video for “Make it Home” featuring Moviee215. Showing that not only was Nomad able to produce music but also, he could create a visual experience that reflected the songs.

Most recently, Nomad Released his first full album titled Trap Bible (Take Risks and Prosper, Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth). This album was released to much acclaim on August 28th. Fellow South Carolina artists such as Moviee215, Lucho, and Reezie Roc were all featured on the album. As is this lineup being already impressive enough, they also had a talented team of producers including Litboy Legendary, Hood Hozay, Supamariobeatz, International Wigg, and TNTXD. The album was mixed and mastered by Grammy Nominated engineer David Knocks.

And this is all just the beginning with so much support and a fresh perspective as a Murk City rapper Nomad is all but sure to take the world by storm. With the release of Trap Bible already being well received it is sure to be another street masterpiece!
