Last month, Nubia debuted the Redmagic 9 Pro along with a Plus model. The company has stated that the former will be joining the local market in the new year, though there is currently no information regarding the latter. The specification sheet hasn’t changed significantly either.
In case you overlooked it, the Redmagic 9 Pro sports a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a resolution of 1,116 x 2,480. Furthermore disclosed in this announcement is its touch sampling rate, which reaches up to 2,000Hz.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which powers the device, can be charged up to 80W using a 6,500mAh battery.
In terms of imaging, the Redmagic 9 Pro features a 16MP secondary shooter beneath its display and a 50MP main + 50 wide-angle combo at the back. The phone also has 22,000 RPM RGB cooling fans, which is one of the main characteristics that set it apart from other gaming phones.
The Redmagic 9 Pro is available with 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB RAM and storage configurations, for RM3,699 and RM4,499, respectively. The former is limited to the basic black version or the Sleet color option.
However, the latter is limited to the Cyclone and Snowfall colorways—the more ostentatious renditions in black and white, respectively—that were shown during the original release.
As previously stated, all of these will be accessible as of January 1st. However, it will only be offered on the brand’s official Shopee store for the first week. During this promotional period, all three Redmagic 9 Pro variants will also be discounted by RM 750.
