OTT Release Date Platform: Co-written and directed by R. Ajay Gnanamuthu, the Arulnithi-starring film “Demonte Colony 2” opened on August 15 to a boisterous reception at the box office. The film is a follow-up to the critically acclaimed 2015 film “Demonte Colony.” The female protagonist in the follow-up, played by Priya Bhavani Shankar, was released on August 15.

With the inclusion of the new actors, Arulnithi is repeating his role as Srinivasan in the supernatural horror movie. With each day that goes by since its release, which fell on the same weekend as Vikram’s “Thangalaan” and “Raghu Thatha,” the Demonte Colony 2 film continues to receive excellent reviews and generate buzz.

The Zed company has acquired the worldwide digital and satellite streaming rights for the sequel Demonte Colony 2. After its theatrical run, the film will make its television premiere on Zed 5 and the Zed networks. The actual streaming date will be revealed soon, but it will probably fall around the end of September.

Under the auspices of BTG Universal, Gnanamuthu Pattarai, and White Nights Entertainment, Bobby Balachandran, Vijay Subramaniam, and RC Rajkumar produced the film Demonte Colony 2, which was co-written by R. Ajay Gnanamuthu, Venky Venugopal, and Rajavel. Harish Kannan operated the camera while Kumaresh D edited the film. The whole background score and music for the movie were written by Sam C.S.
