New OTT Releases This Week: From Mirzapur 3 To Grudan

1) Mirzapur 3 

Release Date: 5th July 2024 on Prime Video

Returning with fresh drama, crime, retribution, and ‘bhaukaal’ are Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, and their Mirzapur gang following two wildly successful seasons. Along with Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Rasika Dugal, Vijay Varma, Isha Talwar, Sheeba Chadha, and others, Ali Fazal and Pankaj Tripathi will reprise their legendary roles as “Guddu Pandit” and “Kaleen Bhaiya.” It is not going to be Divyenndu Sharma’s return as ‘Munna Bhaiya’.

2) Garudan

Release Date: 3rd July 2024 On Amazon Prime Video

Based on a narrative by Vetrimaaran, R. S. Durai Senthilkumar is the director and writer of the Tamil action-thriller Garudan. The movie, which starred Soori, M. Sasikumar, and Unni Mukundan, debuted in theatres on May 31, 2024. The streaming rights to the movie have reportedly been acquired by Amazon Prime. However, the streaming service will soon make an official announcement.

3) Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F 

Release Date: 3rd July 2024 On Netflix

Eddie Murphy returns as the adored police officer Axel Foley in Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, directed by Mark Molly. This film is the fourth in the Beverly Hills Cop series and a follow-up to Beverly Hills Cop III (1994).

4) Malayalee From India 

Release Date: 5th July 2024 On SonyLIV

The story of a jobless young guy who is forced to travel far from his home and alter the path of his life is the central theme of this comedy-drama in Malayalam. The main actor in the Dijo Jose Antony-directed movie is Nivin Pauly.

5) Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga 

Release Date: 4th July 2024 On Book My Show

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, a precursor to Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), starring Chris Hemsworth and Anya Taylor-Joy, is the fifth film in the Mad Max series. The 77th Cannes Film Festival hosted the film’s world debut, which was directed by George Miller.
