The highly awaited movie Jama, which is being produced by Learn And Teach Productions, will be released on August 2nd, according to Picture Box Company. The production company previously produced India’s official Oscar entry, Koozhangal, which was widely praised.

Vinothraj PS’s Koozhangal was India’s official Oscar submission for 2022. It tells the story of a father and son’s search for their mother, who abandoned them because of their abusive and alcoholic father.

Star-Studded

With a star-studded cast that includes Ammu Abhirami, Chetan, Pari Elavazhagan, Sri Krishna Dayal, Manimekalai of Vada Chennai fame, and Vasanth Marimuthu, Jama is directed by Pari Elavazhagan. The renowned musician Ilaiyaraaja wrote the soundtrack for the movie.
