However, it seems likely that the previously scheduled May 9 theatrical release of Kalki 2898 AD will be rescheduled.

According to industry experts and filmmakers, Kalki 2898 AD’s theatrical rights in the two Telugu-speaking states could bring in up to Rs 200 crore. It is said that the producers are trying to get at least Rs 100 crore for the rights to be sold in foreign markets. In total, the producers hope to earn a staggering Rs 500 crore by selling the rights to this enormous movie in every other region, including Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, and the Hindi belt.
