The Open Beta for Diablo IV is about to begin. Fans are getting ready for a second session with the Butcher following the Early Access event this past weekend.
Diablo IV’s Early Access beta was open to pre-purchased players last weekend, allowing them to play through the game’s early campaign and explore the vast Fractured Peaks. The same content is available in the Open Beta this weekend, along with two new playable characters—the Necromancer and the Druid—that are now accessible to everyone, regardless of pre-order status.
The PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 will all be able to play the Diablo IV Open Beta. On each platform, you can begin pre-loading and playing at this time.
When exactly will the Diablo IV Open Beta begin?
From March 24 to March 27, the Diablo IV Open Beta is open to the public. More specifically, you can start playing this Friday at 9:00 a.m. PDT / 12:00 p.m. PDT. Obviously, this is contingent on any issues with the server that could result in lengthy queue times, which hopefully have been resolved since the Early Access beta.
When can the Diablo IV Open Beta be preloaded?
Want to make the most of your free time this weekend? Then you should probably load the Open Beta ahead of time so you can start using it right away when it comes out.
When does Diablo IV Open Beta come to an end?
On Monday, March 27, at 3:00 p.m. EDT / 12:00 p.m. PDT, the Open Beta will end. That gives you three to four solid days to play the game before it comes out this summer.
As an update, the maximum level cap for each character you make in the beta is level 25. Arriving at level 20 with any of your characters in the beta will acquire you the beta wolf pack, which is totally delightful looking.
