The animated second Predator film has finally been announced for its highly anticipated 2025 release. Predator: Killer of Killers, the secret project, was revealed by 20th Century Studios on Tuesday. It has a new teaser and will be available for streaming on June 6 on Hulu and Disney+.

Plot

Three legendary warriors from various centuries are followed in this anthology film: a World War II pilot facing an alien threat in the middle of a fight, a Viking raider on a mission of revenge with her son, and a ninja in medieval Japan engaged in a deadly power struggle with his samurai brother. The Predator, the galaxy’s most deadly force, eventually pursues each of these fierce combatants.

The Third Floor, a renowned production house, completed the animation. The clip combines fast-paced action with harsh and brutal scenes in a visually striking and distinctive manner. The Predator series is recognized for its strong energy, which is reflected in the vivid animation style.

Written and Director 

Micho Robert Rutare wrote the screenplay for the movie, while John and James Thomas’s original characters served as the basis for the plot. Known for his work on ‘Prey’ (2022), director Dan Trachtenberg is in charge of the project. Michael Biehn, Rick Gonzalez, and Louis Ozawa Changchien are among the voice actors.

Based on initial responses to its premise, Killer of Killers, the first animated film in the franchise’s history, looks set to breathe new life into the venerable sci-fi series.
