Reacher has been cast in the upcoming film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s Regretting You. Hoover is an executive producer of the show, which is a star-studded drama directed by Josh Boone (The Fault in Our Stars).
Release Date and Directer
Josh Boone, director of The Fault in Our Stars, is now directing Regretting You, which also stars Dave Franco (Neighbours, The Disaster Artist) and Mason Thames (The Black Phone, Monster Summer). The movie is expected to be released by Paramount Pictures on October 24.
Plot
When tragedy strikes their family, Regretting You examines the tense relationship between Morgan and her daughter, Clara. The quarrel between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni has hampered the film’s economic success, which was announced around It Ends with Us.
Cast
Notable actors from the Ghostbusters franchise and the upcoming live-action How to Train Your Dragon, Grace and Thames in particular, are already featured in the movie. It was disclosed that the two performers were playing Clara and Miller, with Franco playing Jonah and Williams playing the key character of Morgan. The main cast appears to have been established overall, however there are still some unanswered questions about Chris, Jenny, and a potential role for Fitzgerald.
Willa Fitzgerald Likes The Idea Of Rejoining ‘Reacher’
The highly regarded serial killer thriller Strange Darling, written and directed by J.T. Mollner, stars Willa Fitzgerald opposite Kyle Gallner. It was first streamed on Paramount+ on March 1 and in theatres in August.
Regretting You might benefit from assembling a well-known and talented ensemble that could attract a larger audience. A theatrical release of the film might bring in box office receipts similar to It Ends with Us, which made over $351 million worldwide throughout its lifetime, considering how popular the 2019 novel is. Anticipation for Regretting You should only grow as more filming updates are probably on the horizon. It will be interesting to watch how this latest adaption turns out after all the characters are fully realised.
