Red One, a Christmas action-adventure comedy starring Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans, made its premiere in mid-November but was not initially distributed in India. Plot
The movie is set at a period of increased attention in Spain in the summer of 2010, between Madrid and Navarre. It centres on Maria Ruiz, a police inspector who discovers a young man’s unexplained murder. She starts a difficult investigation to find the truth because there are no hints and the victim’s identity is unknown. Is she capable of cracking the case? The film reveals the events that are taking place.

The ensemble cast of the movie also includes Nick Kroll, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Marc Evan Jackson, Jenna Kanell, Wesley Kimmel, Wyatt Hunt, Gursharn Arya, and others. Lucy Liu plays Zoe Harlow, the Director of the Mythological Oversight and Restoration Authority; Bonnie Hunt plays Mrs. Claus; Kristofer Hivju plays Krampus, Santa’s estranged adoptive brother; and Kiernan Shipka plays Krampus’ ex-girlfriend.
Red One didn’t wow crowds or critics, even with its A-list cast. Red One was originally scheduled for release in Christmas 2023, but it was first postponed due to the Hollywood writers’ strike. There have also been accusations that Johnson forced more production delays, which caused the budget to skyrocket.
