Release date and Location for Vishal’s Movie Rathnam on OTT have been Revealed

OTT Release: “Rathnam” is a Tamil action film, co-produced by Alankar Pandian and Kaarthekeyan Santhanam, and helmed by director Hari. Stone Bench Films, Zee Studios, and Invenio Origin served as the production companies. On April 26, 2024, the movie was released in theaters.

With Priya Bhavani Shankar, Ramachandra Raju, Samuthirakani, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Yogi Babu in supporting parts, Vishal leads the cast of the movie. This is Vishal and director Hari’s third joint venture, after “Thaamirabharani” and “Poojai.”

December 2023 saw the official title reveal for the film, which was first dubbed “Vishal 34” at its announcement in April 2023—a reference to Vishal’s 34th leading part. July 2023 marked the start of principal photography, which was shot in a variety of locations, including Thoothukudi, Trichy, Karaikudi, Vellore, Tirupati, and Chennai. By late January 2024, production had come to a halt. Photography was done by M. Sukumar, editing was done by T. S. Jay, and music was composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Vicky, Dhilip Subbarayan, Kanal Kannan, and Peter Hein choreographed the action scenes.

Rathnam Premise

The story of Rathnam’s struggle to protect Mallika while facing his inner agony that follows is gripping. The Tamil action drama “Rathnam” will launch globally on May 23 according to Amazon Prime Video, which has acquired the movie’s digital streaming rights.
