Release date of Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan’s “Metro…In Dino” has been rescheduled

The new release date for the anthology film “Metro…In Dino” was revealed by its creators on Thursday.

Production company T-series posted a picture to Instagram with the caption, “#MetroInDino reveals a new release date. Now scheduled for release on September 13, 2024, is this collection of endearing tales.”

Now, on September 13, 2024, “Metro..In Dino” will open in theaters.

The lead actors in the anthology film, which is directed by Anurag Basu, are Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, and Konkona Sen Sharma.

The movie was originally scheduled to open in theaters on March 29, 2024.

This is Aditya and Basu’s second joint project, “Metro…In Dino.” ‘Ludo’ was the pair’s first project together.

‘Metro…In Dino’, a movie that reportedly takes its name from the hit song ‘In Dino’ from ‘Life in a… Metro’, will present poignant stories of modern personal relationships.

Basu had previously shared additional information about the movie, saying, “Metro…In Dino is a tale of the people and for the people! It has been a while since I worked on this project, so I’m happy to be working with Bhushan Kumar once more—a powerhouse who has always supported me greatly.”

“I look forward to working with amazing artists who bring that essence of contemporary aura with them,” he continued, “and the storyline is very current and relevant.” I’m thrilled to be working with my good friend Pritam, whose contributions have literally given the characters and plot new life, as music is an essential component of any film.”

Basu is well-known for his roles in the movies Jagga Jasoos, Barfi, Life in a Metro, and Ludo.

Kartik Aaryan plays the lead in “Aashiqui 3,” which he will also be directing.
