Sadie Sink, star of Stranger Things, has been cast in Spider-Man 4, joining Tom Holland in the upcoming Marvel and Sony film.

Who will Sink play?

Although it’s widely believed that she will be presented as Jean Grey, an X-Men character, it’s also possible that she may appear as another well-liked redheaded Spider-Man character. Given how the most recent movie, Spider-Man: No Way Home, ended with Parker choosing to finish Doctor Strange’s spell that removes his identity from the world, it is understood that the role will be important.

With the recent completion of the final season of her Netflix series Stranger Things, Sink had just said goodbye to the role that helped establish her career. Later this year, the last season will broadcast, making it one of the most anticipated premieres of 2025.

Next up for Sink is O’Dessa, a Searchlight musical that recently made its world premiere at SXSW. The movie will debut on Hulu next week, and Sink received great reviews for her portrayal. She will initially appear in the Broadway production of John Proctor Is the Villain, which debuts on April 4, prior to beginning work on Spider-Man.

Spider-Man: Storyline

The fourth “Spider-Man” film’s plot has not yet been made public. In the third entry, “Spider-Man: No Way Home” from 2021, Peter Parker unintentionally opens the multiverse, enabling Andrew Garfield and Tobey MaGuire, two previous Spider-Men, to all emerge in the same universe. For both Peter-One and the universe as a whole, this leads to a number of issues. As the movie came to a close, Holland’s portrayal of the character made the difficult choice to hide his identity from the public, causing his best friend Ned (played by Jacob Batalon) and girlfriend MJ (played by Zendaya) to forget he ever existed.
