Sean Wang Movie Didi’s Blu-ray and Digital Release Dates Are Set

Sean Wang’s directorial debut, Didi Blu-ray and digital release dates have been officially set by Universal Pictures, indicating the date of the film’s home distribution.

When is the Didi Blu-ray and digital release date?

On October 29, 2024, Didi will be on sale as a Blu-ray and available for digital purchase or rental. Didi’s Blu-ray and digital releases will come with a “making of” featurette that chronicles the process of creating the film’s distinctive 2000s aesthetic and ambiance.

The narrative of 13-year-old Chris Wang, a teenager living in California with his mother and grandmother, is told in Wang’s film Didi. Along with Shirley Chen, Chang Li Hua, Aaron Chang, Raul Dial, and Izaac Wang, Joan Chen and Izaac Wang star in the movie.

According to the official synopsis, “In 2008, during the last month of summer before high school begins, an impressionable 13-year-old Taiwanese American boy learns what his family can’t teach him: how to skate, how to flirt, and how to love your mom,” 

Carlos López Estrada, Josh Peters, Valerie Bush, and Sean Wang are the producers of Didi. Executive producers for the project include Dave A. Liu, Jennifer J. Pritzker, Chris Columbus, Eleanor Columbus, Robina Riccitiello, Chris Quintos Cathcart, Tyler Boehm, and Joan Chen.
