Song Joong Ki has declared that he will leave the cast of the up and coming film “Season of You and Me” (literal interpretation).
On June 5, Song Joong Ki’s organization History D&C expressed that he would be dropping out of the film because of unforeseen planning clashes brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
An agent of the organization remarked, “Song Joong Ki will not be appearing in ‘Season of You and Me.’ Due to this unavoidable situation, he is currently adjusting his schedule for the second half of the year. Nothing has yet been confirmed [about his upcoming plans].”
The delegate included, “Song Joong Ki is planning to focus on his scheduled promotions for his movie ‘Space Sweepers,’ which will be released this summer.”
Prior this year, Song Joong Ki’s forthcoming film “Bogotá” settled on the choice to stop shooting because of security concerns following the flare-up of COVID-19. As the film was being shot on the spot in Colombia, the cast and group came back to Korea in front of the plan for March, and the makers later reported that shooting would be pushed back to one year from now.
Song Joong Ki at first intended to film “Season of You and Me,” a biopic about the late singer-songwriter Yoo Jae Ha, in the wake of wrapping up shooting for “Bogotá” in May. Be that as it may, because of the last film unexpectedly deferring its production schedule to one year from now, the actor has been compelled to make changes to his timetable for the rest of 2020.
In the meantime, Song Joong Ki’s up and coming science-fiction blockbuster “Space Sweepers” is preparing for a release later this late spring.
