Welcome back, Zayn Malik. The former One Direction star dropped “Vibez,” lifted from his approaching album release Nobody Is Listening.
The new father dropped his new tune at the stroke of midnight.
Devoted to his accomplice Gigi Hadid, “Vibez” is a cut of dreamy R&B with a genuinely hot vibe about it.
On it, he sings: “Don’t keep me waiting/ I’ve been waiting all night to get closer/ And you already know I got it for ya/ You know the vibes, know the vibes, put it on ya.”
“Vibez” is co-composed by Zayn with Mike “Scribz” Riley, Rogét Chahayed and Nija Charles, and is the second delivery from the impending album, following 2020’s “Better.”
Due out Jan. 15, Nobody Is Listening is Malik’s third album and the followup to 2018’s Icarus Falls. Zayn’s presentation from 2016, Mind of Mine, administered the Billboard 200 and the Official U.K. Albums Chart.
