Details of Thandel OTT: On February 7, 2025, Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi’s forthcoming Telugu film will be released, and they are poised to take the theatre by storm.

In addition to Naga and Sai, Sundip Ved, Shiva Alapati, and Kishore Raju Vasistha are also featured in this action film. Under the Geetha Arts brand, Thandel is produced by Bunny Vas and presented by Allu Aravind. Chandoo Mondeti is the writer and director of this DSP musical. Thandel’s Story
Thandel is based on actual occurrences in 2018. During a routine fishing trip, fishermen from Srikakulam unintentionally strayed into Pakistani waters. Typically, they get their boats, start fishing, and travel to Gujarat. However, on one journey, they found themselves in Pakistani territory and were taken prisoner by their troops. The movie chronicles their difficult path, including their year and a half in prison, and their eventual successful comeout.
Naga Chaitanya recently spoke about the film to ZigWheels and explained, “Thandel is a film I have been working on for quite some time; it’s a very special film for me. Firstly, I’ve never attempted this kind of character or texture before. It’s an inspiring story of their struggles and survival.” Two tracks of the film Bujji Thalli and Namo Namah Shivaya have been released so far.
