Plot
The movie takes place in Wellington-on-Sea, a quaint beach village. The story, which intertwines touching themes of community, love, friendship, and family, takes place during a record-breaking snowstorm that throws off everyone’s holiday preparations. When Santa makes a huge error at the North Pole, the bizarre holiday mayhem takes a drastic turn. The movie reveals what happens next.

Numerous actors provide voices in the movie, including Paul Kaye as Yirrell, Kuhu Agarwal as Nisha Mulji, Deborah Findlay as Mrs. Horton, Rhys Darby as Mr. McNutt, Fiona Shaw as Miss Trapper, Bill Nighy as Lighthouse Bill, Lolly Adefope as Mrs. McNutt, Sindhu Vee as Mrs. Mulji, Jodie Whittaker as Mrs. Williams, and Brian Cox as Santa Claus. Peter Souter and Richard Curtis wrote the screenplay. The direction was completed by Simon Otto. Nicole P. Hearon, Aaron Dem, and Adam Tandy are producing it under the banners of Locksmith Animation, DNEG Animation, and Netflix Animation.
