The Creator of Cobra Kai Brings Back Time Travel Series with A New Streaming Where

The time travel film franchise that the Cobra Kai founder worked on has recently made headlines. Hayden Schlossberg, Jon Hurwitz, and Josh Heald co-created the program. In this Karate Kid spinoff, Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence rekindle their rivalry in martial arts years later. With five seasons already finished, it has done incredibly well throughout its time on Netflix. Next year, the final third of Cobra Kai season 6 will be available on Netflix.

Although the Netflix series is perhaps their most well-known work, all three of its creators have had careers outside of Cobra Kai. For instance, Heald contributed to the 2011 comedy film Mardi Gras: Spring Break. However, one of his earliest screenplays will soon be available on streaming services.

The Hot Tub Time Machine Movies Are Coming To Max

Max will soon be able to watch both of the Hot Tub Time Machine films. Nearly 15 years ago, in 2010, the first of these comedic time-traveling films was produced. In the first film, a guy and his friends’ trip to a ski resort goes astray after they discover that a purportedly soothing hot tub is actually a malfunctioning time machine that sends them back in time to 1986, where they must spend a night together. Hot Tub Time Machine 2, a sequel to the silly film, was released in 2015. Heald wrote the screenplay for both films.

There is now a new streaming location for the Hot Tub Time Machine films. In a little more than a week, both films will be available on Max, which will launch on January 1, 2025. Hot Tub Time Machine and Hot Tub Time Machine 2 will be available for viewing at the beginning of the new year for fans of time travel films or goofy comedy in general.
