The Fire Inside, Amazon MGM Studios’ newest sports biographical drama on the lives of two-time Boxing Gold Medallist Claressa Shields, has official images and a release date shared. In the images, Ryan Destiny and Brian Tyree Henry, who portray Claressa and Coach Jason, respectively, are initially seen.

December 25, 2024 is when The Fire Inside is expected to open in theatres later this year. The movie will have its world premiere at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival on September 7, one day before it opens in theatres.
Barry Jenkins, the director of Moonlight, wrote the screenplay, which is directed by Rachel Morrison. Together with Elishia Holmes, the latter is slated to serve as a producer. Starring in the movie are Oluniké Adeliyi (Saw 3D), De’Adre Aziza (Power Book II: Ghost), Judy Greer (Arrested Development), Brian Tyree Henry (Causeway), and Ryan Destiny (Grown-ish). Lyn Lucibello Brancatella, Sue Jaye Johnson, Zackary Canepari, Claressa Shields, Drea Cooper, and Rachel Morrison are the executive producers.
