The Highly Acclaimed Comedy Film A Real Pain has A Set Release Date for Hulu

The premiere date for Searchlight Pictures’ next comedy-drama, A Real Pain, on Hulu has been revealed. The film stars Oscar candidate Jesse Eisenberg and Emmy winner Kieran Culkin. This comes after Culkin’s portrayal of Benji Kaplan in the film earned him a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor.

“Mismatched cousins David and Benji reunite for a tour through Poland to honor their beloved grandmother. The adventure takes a turn when the odd couple’s old tensions resurface against the backdrop of their family history,” reads the film’s official synopsis.

When will A Real Pain be Available on Hulu?

Starting on January 16, A Real Pain will be only accessible on Hulu. On February 4, its Blu-ray release will come next. Critics have given the movie good reviews ever since it debuted in theatres. Based on 212 reviews, it now has a 96% Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Culkin and Eisenberg are joined by Will Sharpe (The White Lotus), Daniel Oreskes (Law & Order), Jennifer Grey (Dirty Dancing), Kurt Egyiawan (The Exorcist), and Liza Sadovy (Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street).

Eisenberg wrote and directed the movie, which is his second directing endeavour after When You Finish Saving the World in 2022. Emma Stone, Dave McCary, Ali Herting, Jennifer Semler, and Ewa Puszczyńska were the producers. Eisenberg and Stone have previously collaborated on the Zombieland franchise, and this was their most recent project together.
