The official trailer for Magnolia Pictures’ next action film, The Quiet Ones, which is based on the largest and most spectacular robbery in Danish history, has been released. The movie was first shown at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival before being released in theatres and on digital platforms.
“In 2008, a group of men from Denmark and across Europe pulled off the biggest heist of all time on Danish soil. Kasper, a boxer with few chances left in life, is offered the opportunity to plan the robbery by its foreign initiators. At the risk of losing his family and everything that matters to him, he takes on the challenge in a bid to break all records and secure his place in the history books,” reads the official synopsis.
When is The Quiet Ones Release Date?
On February 21, 2025, The Quiet Ones is expected to debut both in theatres and online. Reda Kateb as Slimani, Christopher Wagelin as Hasse, Jens Hultén as Joppe, Granit Rushiti as Mo, Amin Ahmed as Warsame, Camilla Lau as Aaliya, Gustav Dyekjaer Giese as Kasper, and Amanda Collin as Maria are among the cast members.
Anders Frithiof August wrote the screenplay, while Frederik Louis Hviid directed the movie, which is based on actual events. Thomas Kristensen, Lizette Jonjic, Jean-Christophe Reymond, and Kasper Dissing are its producers. The creative team consists of composer Martin Dirkov, editor Anders Albjerg Kristiansen, and cinematographer Adam Wallensten.
