Plot
What if…? examines a variety of topics, including treachery, coming-of-age justice, other realities, and god vs evil. The eight-episode series depicts a variety of Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) universes. In order to demonstrate how various decisions or situations could result in very different consequences, each episode presents a “what if” scenario that reimagines significant events and characters from the MCU. The Watcher, an all-knowing cosmic entity who watches the multiverse but vows never to meddle, serves as the series’ narrator.
