Wooden hero hoping to collaborate with seven South directors

Having been officially confirmed as the new Don in Don 3, Ranveer Singh finds himself in an intriguing position! But there are questions surrounding other facets of his career.

According to reports, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s fourth partnership with him, Baiju Bawra, is reportedly on hold because the director is currently working on another project called “Love and War!”

The most recent information about the ’83’ actor suggests that Ranveer Singh is in various stages of discussion with seven South Indian directors about collaborating with them.

Ranveer Singh is expected to meet with Atlee, the director of “Jawan,” which stars Shah Rukh Khan, according to Pinkvilla. According to a person with knowledge of the developments, Atlee is currently writing the screenplay for his next movie and will shortly be selecting the cast. Though Allu Arjun is leading the way, nothing is finalized until everything is signed, sealed, and completed. In the upcoming weeks, he has committed to meeting with Ranveer Singh to talk about a possible partnership.”

The source also disclosed that Nelson, the director of “Jailer,” and Ranveer Singh have met a few times and are currently having an open-ended discussion.

Furthermore, Singh is currently in negotiations with “Ghajini” director AR Murugadoss. “Ranveer has expressed interest in the topic; nevertheless, he will make a decision about his next move only after concluding all scheduled meetings. The source stated that “he has valued the idea and will respond to Murugadoss in a fortnight.”

Additionally, according to the report, Ranveer Singh is speaking with Basil Joseph and Prasanth Varma, the director of “HanuMan.” The latter is collaborating with the actor on the “Shaktiman” adaptation. Although neither of the projects have received confirmation, the preliminary lineup seems highly intriguing.

On an unnamed project that was announced in 2022 but has not received any updates since, Ranveer Singh and Shankar are also working together.

The most recent film in which Ranveer Singh appeared with Alia Bhatt was “Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani,” directed by Karan Johar. In key parts, Jaya Bachchan and Dharmendra also starred in the movie.
