YouTube Originals’ “Dear Class of 2020” commencement ceremony, highlighting Barack and Michelle Obama, Beyoncé, BTS, Lady Gaga, Maluma, and more, will authoritatively initiate Sunday, June 7 at 3:00 p.m. ET.
The four-hour virtual graduation, which was pushed back a day to respect George Floyd’s memorial service, will open with Lizzo and the New York Philharmonic performing “Pomp and Circumstance” and comments from Alicia Keys. Toward the finish of the celebration, Katy Perry will lead the graduates in the monumental tassel turn.
Watchers can go to the virtual ceremony by viewing the live stream on the YouTube Originals channel and the Learn@Home site. Graduates can digitally interface with up to 99 of their colleagues and relatives during the ceremony by setting up a watch party on Google Meet, a safe video meeting platform that is free for anybody with an email address.
