About Zombie Land Saga
Zombie Land Saga is an anime about a girl named Sakura who suddenly dies—but then wakes up as a zombie! She finds out that a strange man has brought her and six other dead girls back to life as zombies. His goal? To form an all-zombie idol group and save the Saga Prefecture!
The girls come from different time periods and backgrounds, but they must work together to sing, dance, and perform like real idols—all while hiding the fact that they’re zombies. The show is funny, weird, and sometimes emotional, mixing music, comedy, and even a bit of horror in a unique way.
Co-director and Writer
The film brings together important characters from the anime series. Shigeru Murakoshi wrote the screenplay, while Takafumi Ishida and Takeru Sato are co-directing.
Chief Director
Chief director Konosuke Uda is returning, while Yasuharu Takanashi is returned to create the music. Once more, MAPPA is producing the movie in collaboration with Avex Pictures and Cygames.
